HPC Modules

On the HPC, you can invoke DataLad from an interactive desktop. You need to use the module system to do so: "Software packages are available as modules and are accessible from the compute nodes of any of our three clusters. They are not available on the login nodes so you will need to be in an interactive session to access them."

In fact, to access DataLad (and other modules) you will need to start an interactive desktop session.

In most cases, a supercomputer has far more software installed than the average user will ever use. As shown in the picture below, load the datalad module:

datalad 0.17.9 (or maybe a more recent version!)
