Introduction/Overview

TemplateFlow is very different than OpenNeuro. TemplateFlow does not provide datasets for you to analyze, but rather provides standard templates for various human and non-human populations. Usually, the contents of TemplateFlow are accessed automatically by BIDS tools like fMRIprep, but it is possible to download these templates. I have found this helpful when I wanted surface templates in GIfTI or CIfTI format.

In this DataLad practice, you'll learn more about git annex, copying and extracting data from DataLad, and viewing metadata.

✅ On the HPC, start an interactive desktop, load the datalad module and navigate to the dlad directory you created in the previous practice.

Navigate to the correct directories before running a command!

Be careful to navigate up and down in the directory structure as indicated! I will not always explicitly print out the cd command. I also expect you to use other common commands without being explicitly told:
● ls to list files, and
● pwd to see where you are, and
● du -sh to determine how big a directory is.
