To code this, the first thing we need to do is create a variable, wave, that keeps track of which wave the player is on. We'll start this variable at 0.

Then we use on block broken for the note block. This code block can be found in the Blocks category.

Whenever the note block is broken, we will display the text "Starting Next Wave" on the screen. Then we'll add 1 to wave. Lastly, we will place a new note block in front of the player.

If wave is 1, then we call the wave1 function. If wave is 2, then we'll call the wave2 function. Otherwise, we call wave3.

Now test your mod. When you type arena in the chat, the entire arena should build around you, and a note block will be placed in front of you. After destroying the note block, wave 1 will spawn.

Test the other waves by continuing to destroy the note block. Your result should be similar to the demonstration video above.

Challenge A

Having only 3 waves for the battle arena is not very exciting. Improve your mod to include 7-10 different waves

Challenge B

Make a mod that gives the player all the gear he needs when typing fight into the chat. This mod can also give the player some effects (like strength) for a limited time.
