Getting Gear

Congratulations! You have completed the hardest parts of the raid mod! This lesson will cover some other features you can add. First, the player will need some gear to fight off the raids. Some useful gear includes:

armor
a sword
a shield
food
bow / crossbow and arrows
totems of undying

Code a mod that will give you your favorite gear when you type fight in the chat. You will need code from the Mobs category. Whatever gear you choose, your code should look something like this.

Killing Mobs

We should also add the ability to kill all the golems and pillagers quickly to end the fight if needed. The following commands can kill certain entities:

/kill @e[type=pillager] - kills pillagers

/kill @e[type=witch] - kills witch

/kill @e[type=vindicator] - kills vindicators

and so on. The execute block (in the Players category) allows us to run these commands. With this knowledge, we can make a chat command to kill the golems and illagers.

Challenge A

When you use kill_enemies to destroy the illagers, they will drop a lot of items (totems, axes, crossbows, etc.) To keep the ground from getting cluttered, add another execute block at the end that will destroy all dropped items once the illagers die.

Hint: dropped items have type "item" in Minecraft commands.

Challenge B

Make a similar mod, kill_allies, that will kill all the iron and snow golems as well as destroy what they drop.

Hint: use underscores for the names of the golems when typing the command.

Project Overview
