Adding the Baseplate

Sometimes when you are doing raids, the illagers get trapped in holes, spawn in caves, or can't reach the village. All these things slow down a raid and make it less fun. To avoid this, we will be building a flat village high in the sky to make it easier to find the illagers.

The first thing we need for our raid simulation zone is a giant plate of grass blocks in the sky.

A fill with block can help us accomplish this task.

The from position should be the block below where the payer is standing. The to position should be somewhere to the right and in front of the player. All blocks in between will be filled in with grass.

However, the plate needs to be pretty large, at least 100x100 blocks so there's enough room for the village and the battles. If we try to fill that many blocks at once with fill with, nothing will happen.

That is because the mod cannot handle that many new blocks being created at once.

The solution is to create several small plates one at a time. The smaller plate can have dimensions like 30x30.

Challenge

Make a mod that will create a 30x30 plate of grass extending forward and to the right of the player whenever you type plate in the chat. Use that mod several times to create a baseplate for the village. Keep the following in mind:

You won't want to build your village baseplate in any biome where a snow golem will melt (desert, mesa, savanna, or jungle).
The baseplate should be big enough for an entire village and a largescale battle (use the video for size reference).
