In Minecraft, a Raid is an attack on a village by illagers (witches, pillagers, evokers, vindicators) and ravagers. Raids can be a lot of fun to play. But sometimes they can be hard to start. The steps to starting a raid are:

Find a pillager outpost
Kill a pillager leader
Travel to a village

These steps can take a long time, especially if there is no nearby pillager outpost. If you're willing to cheat, commands can make this process a lot easier, but there's an even more fun way!

Over the next several lessons, you will build a village in the sky and use it to simulate raids. We will build some extra mods to spawn iron golems, snow golems, and larger waves of illagers to create large scale battles in Minecraft!
