Data Description

To prevent errors during the tutorial, those two fields were removed from bold.json in this dataset.

bids_sidecars

Five sample bids sidecars from the U of A Siemens scanner are provided:

sub-1005_T1w.json and sub-1006_T1w.json are JSON files for different subjects but using the same T1w protocol. These files are provided to compare using jd.
sub-test_asl_orig.json and sub-test_asl.json are, respectively, an original version of the JSON file generated by DICOM-to-BIDS conversion and a manually revised version that meets the bids-validator criteria. The problem with the BIDS ASL metadata file is that our scanner does not provide all the necessary information in the DICOM Headers, so it must to be supplemented manually. Regardless of whether the BIDS ASL JSON files are exactly right, they are useful for examining the JSON-Editor, understanding the role of the JSON schema, and working with jq and jd.
sub-test_asl2.json is used in the jd lesson to display a more complex diff illustrating addition, modification, and deletion.
sub-219_ses-itbs_task-rest_run-01_bold.json is a bold JSON sidecar you can examine and display in the JSON-editor along with the bold schema.
